Associate Pastor Nominating Committee
June 20, 2008 Update It's official! Our CIF (Church Information Form) has been approved and is now posted on the PCUSA website! We are now set to receive Personal Information Forms from prospective candidates. A Personal Information Form or PIF is a Presbyterian version of a resume and is a way for a prospective candidate to tell a nominating committee about themselves. During our next meeting we plan to develop a system to organize, review, and respond to the PIFs that are received. We are very excited to be moving into this next phase of the nominating process. Keep praying!
June 2, 2008 Update
Hello from the Associate Pastor Nominating Committee (APNC). We
have been meeting weekly since mid-April and are pleased to share
that we are almost done with the first phase of the nominating
process. During this phase we have been working on the Church
Information Form. The Church Information Form (CIF) includes
information about our congregation; who we are, what we believe, and
our successes, challenges and strengths. Once the CIF is approved
by Session and the Committee on Ministry (a committee of Plains and
Peaks Presbytery) it will be posted on the PCUSA website as well as
on this website. The job posting will then be official. Let the
resumes arrive!
We plan on posting regular updates on this site so please check back
often to follow our progress. We are appreciate of your prayers and
words of encouragement as we work towards calling an associate
pastor to serve our congregation.
